The Engineering club takes 12 children each term from Year 6 and is fully supported by expert engineers and a member of staff. All the equipment is provided and it includes; use of a fully stocked tool kit, soldering irons, plus all the engineering resources to complete a range of projects. These include: radio- controlled vehicles, an LED Christmas tree decoration and our latest project, the assembly of an FM radio, which has proved very popular with the children. These activities develop fine motor skills, the ability to focus and follow detailed instructions. Valuable skills for life!
