This year we chose the theme of ‘Bee kind, Bee happy’ with everyone dressing as bumblebees.

We started planning and making our float back in July, with lots of staff joining together to have a day of making in the summer holidays.

The night before carnival we started to put some of the structure on to our float- but rain and thunder meant we could not achieve as much as we had hoped!

Although Saturday morning started off dry the sun soon broke through and we were able to complete the building, with lots of staff and family helping out.

At 1pm we met all the children and any other adults who were joining us at Parkside.

Our float was admired by many and as a result as were awarded the Gold award!
